| A floral art school was set up in Zhongshan
Park Tuesday, providing a site for ikebana lovers to learn skills.
The school, the Beijing Peihua Floral Art School, is a branch of
the Macao Peihua Floral Art School established by Ms. Zhou Peihua.
Founded in 1989, the Macao-based school enjoys a high reputation
at home and abroad.
Integrating the beauty of nature and culture, ikebana is an elegant
art, which embodies shapes and colors of the flowers.
With the development of China's economy and opening-up wider to
the outside world, urban residents have paid greater attention to
using ikebana to reflect the modern civilization, the rhythm of
the times and people's pursuit of a happy life.
