I. Introduction
China's economic development has entered the era of an urgent need to adjust the industrial structure and to take the road of independent innovation. China attaches great importance to entrepreneurship education and college students' entrepreneurial activities. On May 11, 2010, the Ministry of Education issued the "Ministry of Education's Comments on Vigorously Promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Colleges and Universities and Entrepreneurship of Students," which proposed to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, and actively encouraged college students to start their own businesses. This is a significant strategy along with the in-depth study and practice of the scientific concept of development in the education system that serves to build an innovative country.
In view of Tsinghua University's abundance in entrepreneurial atmosphere and richness in entrepreneurial experience and resources, a large number of students are interested in entrepreneurship. "Tsinghua Entrepreneurship Annual Meeting" is scheduled to be held in Qinghuayuan during the annual celebration of Tsinghua's establishment with integration of resources, innovative models and supports from sponsors and based on Tsinghua's MBA programs. The abbreviation "TEAM" embodies the connotation that an element of entrepreneurial success is to have an excellent team. The meeting is an incentive and a guidance to students and alumni for entrepreneurial thinking, as well as a banquet of a collected review of entrepreneurial projects.
At the same time, resources of local Chinese government authorities are expected to be introduced after the meeting. With the preferential policies in High-tech Development Zones regarding entrepreneurship, more mature entrepreneurial projects will be promoted throughout China, which is not only beneficial to the landing of entrepreneurial projects, but also contributive to the local economic development.
II. Principle
To make Tsinghua the source of innovation, the fertile ground for entrepreneurship and the cradle of entrepreneurs.
III. Theme
"Shaping the Era of Entrepreneurship"
Implying Tsinghua University to become the pioneer and leader of this era and a key force in shaping this era！
IV. Contents
TEAM includes three parts:
1) Theme Forum focusing on entrepreneurship;
2) Six sub-forums;
3) A show of entrepreneurial projects;
4) Core team members of entrepreneurial projects communicate with guests at the luncheon.
