Appended with Zhu Xiu's diary-"Records of the Qinghai-Tibet Travel," an account of what the author, a famous political activist and educator in Qinghai during the Republic of China period, saw and heard on his way from Huangyuan in Qinghai to Lhasa in Tibet, as well as the local conditions and customs, historical stories, geographical changes, ethnic groups and religions.
