US Sanctions on Chinese Companies Firmly Opposed: FM
Adjust font size:

China has expressed strong dissatisfaction with and firm opposition to the US government's sanctions on Chinese companies, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Qin Gang on Wednesday.

The US announced on Tuesday it was imposing sanctions in line with its so-called domestic law on six Chinese companies, which were accused of supplying Iran with military equipment and technology.

The Chinese government has always held a serious and responsible attitude toward the non-proliferation issue and has adopted a series of effective measures to strengthen export management and control, he said.

The US move was not beneficial to China-US cooperation in the non-proliferation field, Qin said, demanding the US change this wrongful action.
