Documents Issued to Curb Corruption

The General Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee recently issued three documents concerning leading officials at county level and above in a new effort to control corruption.
   
The three documents are the Temporary Provisions on the Tenure of Leading Officials, the Regulations on the Transfer of Leading Officials and the Temporary Provisions on the Avoidance of Leading Officials.
   
The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee is responsible for explaining the documents.
   
The General Office ordered local authorities and departments concerned to seriously implement the decrees while giving consideration to local realities.
