In Anhui Province on Thursday, a collision involving at least five buses, minivans and a truck occurred at about 8:40 AM on an expressway in Bengbu City.

Two people were killed and eight injured.

It was reported that there was heavy fog at the time of the accident. There were a total of 11 accidents on the expressway on Thursday morning involving 36 vehicles.

Also reportedly due to heavy fog, a third pileup involving 16 vehicles on an expressway in Lujiang County at around 3:00 PM injured 17 more people.
