The World Trade Organization (WTO) at its ministerial meeting in Doha, Qatar Sunday approved Chinese Taipei's applications for membership.

Chinese Taipei is to be admitted into WTO in the name of the "Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu".
