Northwest China: Most of the region will be sunny, cloudy in some areas, and with higher temperatures. January 24 to 25: northern Xinjiang and southeastern sections of the region will have light snow or sleet. January 26 to 27: affected by streams of cold air, northern and western Xinjiang and eastern parts of the region will experience light to moderate snow or rainfall, while force 4 to 6 northerly winds are expected to hit northern Xinjiang. January 28 to 29: it will continue to snow in northern Xinjiang and western Gansu, and other parts of the region will see cloudy skies.

 

North China: January 23: sun and cloud for most of the region, while fog will set into the plains. January 24 to 25: central areas of Inner Mongolia, northeastern Hebei Province and southwestern Shanxi will have light snowfall with force 4 to 5 northerly winds blowing throughout north China. January 26 to 27: scattered snowfall is forecast for northeastern Inner Mongolia while most of the region should range from cloudy to sunny. January 28 to 29: more streams of cold air will affect the region, bringing winds, snow and lower temperatures.

 

Northeast China: January 23: most parts will be dominated by sunny skies with force 3 to 4 northerly winds. January 24 to 25: affected by streams of cold air, southern parts will be overcast and some light snow is expected. Force 3 to 4 northerly winds and colder weather is also expected for most of the region. January 26 to 27: northern Heilongjiang will have light snow with force 4 to 5 northerly winds mainly in the easternmost and southern parts of the region. January 28 to 29: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with light snowfall in some the northwestern sections.

 

Central China: January 23 to 24: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with morning fog possible in some middle and southern parts. January 25 to 26: northern and western parts will be cloudy and partly overcast with snow or rain expected in some places, other parts will be foggy. January 27 to 29: affected by streams of both cold and warm air, most of the region will experience light to moderate rain or snowfall with heavy rain possible in some of middle and southern parts and temperatures are also likely to drop.  

 

East China: January 23 to 24: most of the region will be sunny to cloudy while some of middle and southern sections should experience some morning fog. January 25 to 26: most sections will be under sunny to cloudy skies with fog in some southern sections. January 27 to 29: affected by streams of both cold and warm air, northern sections see cloudy to sunny skies with force 4 to 5 northerly winds and lower temperatures, while central and southern sections will be overcast with light to moderate rain or snow, with heavy rainfall expected in some places.

 

South China: January 23 to 25: most parts will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. January 26 to 27: western and southern coastal areas will get rain while other parts will be cloudy. January 28 to 29: affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will have light to moderate rain. 

 

Southwest China: January 23: most of the region will be under sunny to cloudy skies, although light precipitation is expected in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces. January 24 to 25: an easterly cyclone will bring light to moderate snowfall or rain to Tibet, and heavy snow in some cases. January 26 to 27: eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region will experience light to moderate snow or rain with heavy snow or rain expected in some areas. Temperatures will also drop. January 28 to 29: western Tibet and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will continue to receive light to moderate snow or rain.
