The Chinese men's national basketball team overturned an Australian youth team 80-58 in Zhuhai on Monday in a warm-up for the upcoming Doha Asian Games.

Former NBA player Wang Zhizhi and rising star Yi Jianlian each contributed 15 points for China, while captain Li Nan added 12.

Leading 23-18 from early on, China were ahead by 17 points at half time and romped home with a huge 80-58 margin.

China won all matches in their three-stop trip. They upset visiting NBDL's Thunderbird 82-55 in the opening match in Beilun last Thursday, and beat the same team 86-78 in Macao two day later.

The Chinese basketball squad will leave for Doha on Friday for the 15th Asian Games that are due to be held on December 1-15.
