500 grams (1.1 lb) snow peas
15 grams (1/2 oz) mashed garlic
150 grams (12 tbsp) salad oil
1 1/2 grams (1/4 tsp) salt
1 gram (1/4 tsp)MSG
1 gram (1/4 tsp)sugar
10 grams (2 tsp)mixture of cornstarcha nd water
1. Wash the snow peas and peel off the spines.
2. Heat the salad oil in a wok until 70-100ºC (160-210ºF). Put in the snow peas and stir-fry. Take out and drain off the oil.
3. Keep 50 g (3 1/2 tbsp) oil in the wok. Add the mashed garlic and stir untilit gives a strong aroma. Put in the snow peas, salt, MSG and sugar, and stir. Add the mixture of cornstarch and water.Take out and serve.
Features: The mashed garlic produces a strong aroma while the snow peas look refreshingly green.
Taste: Salty , tasty and tender.
