Natural, Tasty and Healthy Food of Guizhou
Guizhou has the best natural environment in China, which makes it an ideal place for high-end mountain agriculture and animal husbandry. At present, more than 300 products in the province are entitled to geographical indication protection by the former State Administration for Market Regulation. Its high-quality agricultural products, such as tea, edible fungi, vegetables, chili, mini-pigs, cattle, prickly pear, and kiwi fruit, are emerging as well-recognized brands.
In 2017, Guizhou launched its initiative to promote the province's green agricultural products worldwide as well as a branding campaign for such products.
On the basis of analyzing and drawing upon international standards on good agricultural practices and organic products as well as the former Chinese Ministry of Agriculture's standards on green food and pollution-free agricultural products, Guizhou has established two local standards regarding the production of and processing of agricultural products which offer a clear definition of green agricultural products for the first time in the country. They have provided technical support for Guizhou's endeavor to brand its green agricultural products as a whole.
贵州生态美食品、吃出健康好味道
贵州拥有中国最好的生态环境,是发展高端山地农业和畜牧业的理想之地。目前,全省共有300多个产品获得原国家质检总局地理标志产品保护,茶叶、食用菌、蔬菜、辣椒、香猪、黄牛、刺梨、猕猴桃等贵州绿色优质农产品正成为响亮的品牌。
2017年,贵州省全面启动“贵州绿色农产品风行天下”行动,同时启动打造“贵州绿色农产品”整体品牌的行动。
在分析吸纳国际通用的良好农业规范、有机产品标准和原农业部绿色食品、无公害农产品等标准的基础上,贵州制定了《绿色贵州·农产品生产》《绿色贵州·农产品加工》两个地方标准,在国内首次明确了绿色农产品的定义和内涵,对贵州绿色农产品打造整体品牌提供了技术支撑。
