In order to serve the increasingly growing demand for technology, equipment and service in China's wind energy market, the sponsors will also hold a special exhibition in the Shanghai International Exhibition Center from November 1 to 3, 2007.
With the implementation of the China Law on Renewable Resources and the Eleventh Five-Year Plan as of January 1, 2006, China's wind energy market will generate valuable opportunity for vigorous growth. The installed capacity of windmill generators is planned to reach 5 million kW in 2010, 10 million kW in 2015 and 30 million kW in 2020.
In 2005, the installed capacity of newly added windmill generators was 500,000 kW, increase by 254 percent and boosting a total installed capacity of 1.27 million kW in China.
