Chinese action star Donnie Yen and Hong Kong veteran actor Sammo Hung promoted their latest crime drama Sha Po Lang Monday in Tokyo. 

 

Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festiva, this film was released in Hong Kong and Taiwan last month with great success.

 

Set in present day, Sha Po Lang features a story about two cops and a crime lord.

 

Mainland Chinese actress Liang Jingke played the female lead. The cast also includes Hung Tin-Ming (Sammo Hung's son).

 

The film is directed by Yip Wai-Shan and the action is done by Donnie Yen.

 

Sha Po Lang is short for the names of three stars, Qi Sha, Po Jun and Tan Lang. According to the Taoist believing, variation of the three stars' positions is decisive to everyone's faith.
