A big winner at the Madrid Experimental Film Festival in Spain, Chinese film Sudden Lover has received an invitation to compete at Italy's Far Eastern Film Festival in April. 

 

Director Hao Ran told the Star Daily newspaper yesterday that he has attended a lot of film festivals around the world, but he would rather that more audiences in China would watch his film and learn of this Chinese young director's efforts and goals. 　

 

Italy's Far Eastern Film Festival is perhaps the biggest event to introduce Asian films in Europe. It's a competition between artistic films. 　

 

 

Another Chinese film Peacock won a big award at the event last year. This year's Sudden Lover will head to Italy on April 21st. 　　

 

Lead by Hong Kong Golden Horse Awards Best Actor Liu Ye, the film also includes famous actress Wang Siyi, experimental drama actor Guo Tao and singer Huang Gexuan.
