Hu Ge's New Web Film May Trigger New Regulations
Adjust font size:

Chinese film administration authorities are considering drawing up new regulations concerning web films.

This is triggered off by the new product from Hu Ge, the man who made his fame by making fun of the film The Promise on the Internet.

This time, he's produced a 48-minute fully developed story on the Internet. It has investment, a script and actors. For many viewers, it's like a mini-film.

Although this new product is not as popular as his first one, it showcases one administrative loophole of the authorities since there is no regulation regarding this kind of Internet products. Experts predict the government will act on this soon.
