Chinese movie star Leehom Wong's new Japanese movie Starlit High Noon premiered in Japan over the weekend.

The film is the second Japanese feature with Leehom as a star, after 2003's Moon Child, a joint China-Japan project co-starring Anne Suzuki and Taro Yamamoto.

Starlit High Noon garnered an honorable mention at the Berlin Film Festival and earned Leehom a nomination for the "Best Male Newcomer" award.

Starlight High Noon was filmed in 2003 and directed by Yasuda Kyo. Leehom plays a hitman who hides out in Okinawa after carrying out an assignment in Taiwan. Suzuki Kyoka joins him as a costar.
