China Film Week Starts in Jakarta, Indonesia

The China Film Week was held Wednesday in Indonesia's Jakarta, to mark the 15th anniversary of dialogue partnership between China and ASEAN.

 

The China Film Week was co-hosted by the Chinese Embassy, Indonesian Department of Foreign Affairs and ASEAN (the Association of South East Asian Nations) Secretariat.

 

The film week is open to governmental officials, parliament members, university teachers and students as well as other general public.

 

The China Film Week will surely provide a unique opportunity for Indonesian audience to appreciate Chinese culture and cinematographic art, which is conducive to the promotion of mutual understanding and cultural exchanges between the peoples of our two countries, an official from the Chinese Embassy said.
