Hong Kong action movie Dragon Tiger Gate premiered Wednesday in Hong Kong.

 

 

Starring Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue, the new martial arts film is based on the popular eponymous Hong Kong comic series by Tony Wong.

 

The story is about a group of youngsters fighting gangs and protecting the innocent on the streets of Hong Kong.

 

The US$10 million movie is helmed by Wilson Yip, with Donnie Yen as the action director and Chang Suk-Ping as the art director.

 

Huang Ziyan, manager of the New Film Association, is confident about box office returns given the film's strong cast and pre-release hype.
