China-Russia Military Drill

The China-Russia joint military exercise, dubbed "Peace Mission 2005," ends in east China's Shandong Province on August 25, 2005 after the successful maneuvers performed by 10,000 troops from the Russian and Chinese navy, air force, army and paratroops. The drill that started on August 18 is the first between China and Russia since a joint naval exercise in 1999.
