From September 14 to 16, 2005 President Hu Jintao attends the UN summit on the 60th anniversary of its establishment. Speaking at the summit on September 15, Hu reiterated that China will unswervingly keep to the path of peaceful development. He also said UN reform should be realized through democratic consultation in an active and prudent manner.
