DPP Defeat in Taiwan Elections

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in Taiwan is defeated by the Pan Blue Alliance led by the Chinese Kuomintang Party (KMT), in a local election on December 4, 2005. The election loss is actually a "no-confidence vote" handed by the Taiwanese people to the DPP.
