18-Million-Yuan Sci-Tech Products Reach Tibet

The Ministry of Agriculture has offered donations worth 18 million yuan (US$2.3 million) including vehicles, computers, TV sets, and books, in an effort to improve working conditions for sci-tech staff in rural areas in Tibet Autonomous Region.

 

On August 7, a ceremony to mark the start of the donation program was held at the Potala Palace Square in Lhasa, the regional capital.
