Chicken and Radish Soup
1 chicken (about 1,000 grmas or 2 2/9 lb.)
250 grams (5/9 lb.)horse radish
10 grams (1/3 oz) sectioned scallions
10 grams (1/3 oz)sliced ginger
20 grams (4 tsp.) cooking wine
8 grams (1 1/3 tsp.) salt
2 grams (1/2 tsp.) MSG

(1) Wash the chicken clean, quick boil and then cut into chunks about 4 cm (a little over 1 inch)long and 3 cm (just under 1 inch) wide. Remove the skin of the horse radish and cut into sections of 4 cm long.

(2) Put 2,000 grams(4 cups) of water in the pot, add the chicken chunks, cooking wine,s callions and ginger. Bring it to boiling point and turn the fire to low to let it simmer for simmer an hour. Add the horse radish and salt and continue to simmer till the radish is well done.

Features:The chicken chunks are tender and the radish is soft.
Taste:Delicious salty.
