Hani: Having a population of 1.25 million.

Kazakh: An Islamic people totaling 1.11 million.

Dai: Having a population of 1.02 million, mostly believing in Hinayana (the Little Vehicle of Salvation) of Buddhism.

Li: Having a population of 1.11 million, mainly distributed in central and south Hainan Province.

Lisu: Mainly inhabiting Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, with a population of 580,000.

Wa: Having a population of 350,000, mainly distributed in southwest Yunnan Province.

She: Having a population of 630,000, with the majority living in Fujian and Zhejiang provinces.

Gaoshan: Having a population of 340,000, with the majority living in Taiwan Province, forming the chief ethnic minority on the island.

Lahu: Mainly inhabiting southwest China, with a population of 410,000.

Shui: Having a population of 340,000, living mainly in Guizhou Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Dongxiang: Having a population of 370,000, living mainly in Gansu Province.

Jingpo: Living mainly in Yunnan Province, with a population of 110,000.

Blang: Living mainly in Yunnan Province, with a population of 80,000.

Kirghiz: Mainly inhabiting Xinjiang, with a population of 140,000.

Tu: Living mainly in Qinghai and Gansu provinces, with a population of 190,000.
