Chinese Pair Enters Last Eight

Chinese tennis players are continuing to set new standards, as China's Peng Shuai and Chinese Taipei's Li Huizhi have made it into the last eight of the women's doubles at the US Open.

They came back from 1-0 down to beat Tathiana Garbin of Italy and Tina Krizan of Slovenia in three sets.

It is the first time that Chinese tennis players have entered the final eight at women's doubles of US Open.

They will take on the winners of a match between Jennifer Hopkins and Mashona Washington both from the US, and Austria's Barbara Schett and Switzerland's Patty Schnyder.
