Beijing Hyundai Puts Strike Behind to Win

The China Super League seemed to have returned to normal Saturday as Beijing Hyundai hammered a 2-nil home win against Qingdao Beilaite, seemingly overcoming the scandal of their recent walk-off.

As part of the punishment by the China Football Association, Hyundai manager Yang Zuwu had to direct his boys from the stands.

15 minutes into the game, Hyundai took the lead with playmaker Tao Wei's left-curving free kick.

The Beijing side didn't let up their attacks for the rest of the game. However, their second goal came late, just four minutes from time.

The team is standing 8th, with 16 points.

Shenzhen tied Shandong to stay in top place with a five point lead.
