China Wins Three Titles in World Junior Badminton

China won three badminton titles in the men's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles at the World Junior Team Badminton Championships on Sunday in Vancouver.

Defending champion Chinese Chen Jin retained the men's singles title, after defeating compatriot Gong Weijie 2-1.

Chinese He Hanbin and Yu Yang dashed Indonesian Greysia Polii and Muhamad Rizal 15-12, 15-12 in the mixed doubles final.

Meanwhile, Chinese top duo Tian Qing and Yu Yang whitewashed team-mates Feng Chen and Pan Pan 15-3, 15-5 to crown the women's doubles, while the men's doubles title went to a Malaysian pair.

Chinese players thrashed South Korea 3-0 in team matches to defend the title of the tournament earlier this month.
