China Beats Canada 3-1 to Enter Semis in Under-19

China have whitewashed Canada 3-1 to reach the semifinal of FIFA Under-19 Women's World Championship. Zhang Ying contributed two goals for the Chinese team.

Zhang Ying shot the spot kick to give China a 1-0 lead, after Canadian goalkeeper Stacey VanBoxmeer was red-carded in the first minute.

Zhang Ying made it 2-0 in the 21st minute, firing a low free kick into the corner of the Canadian goal.

Brittany Timko brought Canada back to 2-1 in the 63rd minute, with her seventh goal in four games.

But substitute Liu Sa restored China's two-goal lead, two minutes later to seal the victory.

China will take on Brazil in the semifinal.
