Youngster Hu Xufeng had 10 points and 16 assistances while center Tang Zhengdong scored 27 points and 15 rebounds as the home team hammered Shanghai 118-108.
In Xi'an, Beijing beat home side Shaanxi by 113-102, winning for the first time in 3 games. The match was Shaanxi's first home defeat of the season.
Henan and their new coach failed to rediscover their form as they went down 96-90 to visiting Shandong.
In other matches Liaoning hammered Xinjiang 120-97, Zhejiang beat Yunnan 84-79, while Fujian struggled to clinch a narrow 75-73 victory over Bayi.
