Jiangsu Nangang beat the jet lag to extend their winning streak to 11 games, outscoring Xinjiang Feihu 118-106 on Friday in the 2004-05 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.

The encounter ended Xinjiang's perfect home record, but put Jiangsu into an unprecedented 11 straight winning start in the CBAleague, which changes its schedule from two games per team per week to three as every club will play 38 instead of original 22 regular games in the 2004-04 season.

Jiangsu made seven of nine 3-pointers to finish the first period 40-17, enlarged the cushion to 30-plus before entering the second half 64-43, and never lost their double-digit advantage afterwards.

Tang Zhengdong made 13 of 20 shots for 30 points, Simeon Halet and Zhang Cheng added 27 and 24 points respectively for Jiangsu, who scored 15 out of 29 three-pointers throughout.

In Beijing, the Ducks held back a brilliant surge-up of the Zhejiang Cyclones for a 91-82 victory.

Zhejiang came back with a 16-0 run in over four minutes midway into the fourth quarter, slicing the deficit to 82-76 to keep the game on stake.

Forward Jiao Jian, who had 17 points for the Ducks, missed six consecutive 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. The home team shot 16-of-33 from behind the arc in the game.

"I'm not happy with the game though we won," said Min Lulei, head coach of the Ducks, who won the two straight home matches. "Fatigue is not an excuse. Everyone is tired."

Chen Lei had a game-high 21 points for the home team, with five Beijingers scoring in double-digit figures.

The Cyclones were led by Dai Yong and Wang Shilong, each having 16 points.

In Xi'an, Shaanxi Kylins eventually re-ignited their powders at home after two away defeats, beating tailing club Shanghai Oriental 94-83.

Leading 24-18 into the second period, Shaanxi made a 10-0 run in three minutes for a comfortable margin as Garth Joseph made 14 of his 25 points in the first half.

Liu Jinbin and Shan Weiguo combined 33 points for the home side.

While Robert Dryden scored the game-high 28 points for the Oriental, Liu Wei was the only other teammate with double digit, contributing 23 points.

In Jinan, Shandong Lions were revenged at home by Jilin Tigers 112-97 after their first round victory.

Against the aggressive home players, the Tigers exploited their executions for a 25-18 lead into the second quarter where the visitors carried out their full-court defense for a 60-40 advantage into the second half.

Veteran Sun Jun only made one of two shots and sat out the second half for Jilin, as Roderick Gragoire contributed game-high 30 points, Du Jiang and Wang Bo combined for 37 points.

In other three games of the day, all home teams lost to their respective rivals as Fujian Xunxing were beaten 108-82 by Yunnan Honghe, Bayi Deers lost to Guangdong Hongyuan 100-83 and Henan Jigang surrendered to Liaoning Panpan 88-86.
