The 20th round of the CBA came to an end as the miraculous Jiangsu team topped Zhengjiang 113-100.
Jiangsu has so far won 19 in a row. Hu Weidong scored a game-high of 27 points and his super three-pointer hit the net just 2 seconds from halftime to put his side up 60-44.
The win also put Jiangsu in a mid-season leadership position in the southern conference.
In Beijing, the home side held off Shandong for the second time this season with a 104-76 victory, their fourth in a row.
In Urumchi, Xinjiang won an unexpected 101-90 victory over visiting Bayi, who are headed by Xinjiang-born coach A Dijiang.
In other games, Shanghai downed Jilin 112-101, Liaoning, which topped the northern conference tally, beat Yunnan 83-66, while Henan beat Guangdong 104-92 and Shaanxi overcame Fujian 86-72.
