Missing Mountain Climbers Rescued

18 mountain climbers who went missing on the Xiaowutai Mountain in central China's Hebei Province were rescued Tuesday.

15 of the climbing enthusiasts came from Beijing. They started the three-day trek on New Years Day but fell out of contact on January 3.

They met other three mountaineers during the trip, who also got lost.

The rescue team contacted the 18 people and finally located them on yesterday afternoon. All the members are in good condition except two slightly injured.

At a height of over 2800 meters, Xiaowutai Mountain currently has very poor weather conditions.
