2005 a Busy Year for Martial Arts

This year will be a big year for practicitioners of the martial arts Wushu with the International Olympic Committee due to decide in July whether to admit the sport into the Beijing Olympics in 2008. 
 
In December, the International Wushu Federation will hold the 8th world championship in Vietnam, which may attract the most ever teams after it expanded the membership to 101 last Nov.

And the 10th National Games will be the most significant domestic events, in which players are to compete for 19 wushu titles.
