CBA: Jiangsu Leave No Suspense to Win

Zhang Cheng clinched game's highest 37 points and Jiangsu Nangang got their 23rd win in the season by beating Shaanxi Dongsheng 127-106 in Chinese Basketball Association.

The visiting Shaanxi team, which is at the second from bottom in the North Confederation, shocked their rivals at the very beginning by taking an 8-7 lead.

But the home side proved their strength, locking the score at 33-24 after the opening quarter and enlarging the gap in the second by over 20.

The Shaanxi side showed no hint to give in, making it 90-95 at the end of the third quarter. However no more chances left for them in the rest of game and the western China's team had to take nothing back home.

In other matches, Liaoning plundered an away victory over Beijing 107-99, Guangdong beat Zhejiang 115-106, while Henan triumphed over Shanghai 111-93.
