Zhu Fangyu from the Guangdong Tigers won the Three-Pointer Contest of the All-Star Game on Sunday to become the first CBA player to reign the title.
Zhu, who also won the same contest in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA)- Korean Basketball League (KBL) All-Star Game on January 28, scored the most 25 points on the final to beat Yu Juankai from the Yunnan Honghe.
The last-season's CBA MVP was perfect on the 2nd, 4th and 5th shooting positions.
Yu, who had the most 3-pointers in the regular season with 139,got 20 points in the final, same as he did in the first round, but not good enough to win his first 3-pointer contest.
In the first round, Zhu scored 17 points to beat Jiangsu Dragons's Ryan Forehan-Kelly's 12, while Yu beat another Dragons' guard Zhang Cheng, who scored 16 points.
