Chinese skaters have secured their berths in men's short program competition in the ongoing world figure skating championships in Moscow.
China's top male skater Li Chengjiang, who won the silver medal in men's free skating event at the Four Continents Championships last month, finished eighth in Monday's qualifying. His teammate Zhang Min was 13th.
20-year old Swiss Stephane Lambiel won the highest 153 points, two points ahead of defending champion Evgeni Plushenko of Russia. French rising star Brian Joubert was third with 132.
