Chinese veteran Hao Haidong started for Sheffield United in a reserve team clash against cross-city's Sheffield Wednesday.
The productive forward couldn't found the net in his time and the team conceded a 2-1 defeat in the derby.
Hao was close to a goal in the 17th minute, when he met a cross from the right flank in the penalty box. But the striker headed wide and was substituted in the 60th minute.
Minutes after Hao going off, Sheffield Wednesday broke the deadlock and the United hit back in the 76th. But an 88th minute free kick helped Wednesday lock the victory.
