China's New Coach Wins Debut Match

The Chinese women's national team's new coach Tom Maher has finished his debut match with a 73-69 victory over the Australian all-star women's team.

The game is one of the team's series of warm up matches for the upcoming Asian Basketball Championships in June.

New Zealand national coach Tom Maher, who guided Australia to the bronze medal in the 1996 Olympics and the silver in 2000 replaced former head coach Gong Luming.
