Chinese Zheng Jie enters the final at the Grand Prix S.A.R. La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Rabbat, Morocco after compatriot Li Na withdrew for a sudden injury.

The two set an all Chinese semi-final at the clay court tournament, but an unexpected injury of Li Na when at 3-3 in the first set gave Zheng an easy access to the final, in which she will meet Spanish Nuria Vives.

The Spaniard advances into the final after knocking out French Emilie Loit 6-4, 6-1.

If overcoming the rival in the final, Zheng will become the first Chinese that has claimed a clay court title in the WTA tour.
