China beat Ireland 5-2 to finish third in the six-nation KT Women's Hockey Cup in Seongnam, South Korea.
The Chinese team led 3-0 at half-time and scored their fourth four minutes after the interval.
Ireland's Suzanne Beaney scored in the 53rd minute to pull one back.
But China restored their four-goal cushion nine minutes from time and Jenny Burke's late effort was just a consolation.
Meanwhile, England overcame South Korea to successfully defend their KT Cup after beating the hosts 3-1 in the final.
