The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games will start selling tickets for the 2008 Olympics next year.
The announcement was made by Jiang Xiaoxu, BOCOG's executive vice-president, at a seminar on media coverage of the 2008 Games.
According to Jiang, while major stadiums are in the process of construction, the committee should first determine how many seats the stadiums can provide and how many seats should be reserved for the media and guests.
The committee will then kick off the ticketing plan. In addition, Jiang also said plans for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games will be hammered out this September.
