China's super league club, Shandong Luneng, is going to cooperate with their AFC Champions League rival Jubilo Iwata on the training of young footballers.

According to the director of Jubilio Iwata, the two clubs are planning to exchange young players and hold regular friendly matches in the future.

Shandong lost to the Japanese club 6-2 in an AFC Champions League match on March 23, 2001.
