Members of the Chinese figure skating team are heading for the Turin Olympic Winter Games which will kick off this Friday.
The team, spearheaded by world champions Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo, will depart Beijing for Turin this afternoon.
Ren Hongguo, vice president of Chinese Skating Association, disclosed that Zhao Hongbo, who has recently recovered from a foot injury, was expected to perform his famous triple toe-loop jump in the competitions.
Young pairs Zhang Dan/Zhang Hao and Pang Qing/Tong Jian will join their teammates in the doubles competition.
China's top men's singles skater Li Chengjiang and women's singles ace Liu Yan will also compete in the Turin Games.
