China has beaten Japan 1-0 in their third contest Tuesday to wind up the Sino-Japanese series 2-1.

Zhou Wanfeng has scored the only goal for China 15 minutes into the game.

China has also won the series opener 4-3.

A young lineup fielded in the second match has resulted in a stunning 3-0 loss.

China will play a similar series against South Korea in preparation for the upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches.
