Olympic champion China spikes into the semifinals at the international women's volleyball tournament in Switzerland after its third straight win.

In Thursday's match, the Chinese ladies battled to conquer the powerful Cuba team before winning 3-2.

Prior to this match, China won over Russia 3-1 and Germany 3-0 in group A at the tournament.

As leader of group A, China will possibly meet Italy from group B in the semifinals.
