Both Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi, the two star centers on the Chinese men's basketball team, have appeared at the team's training session.

 

The team held its first training session Wednesday night, hours after they arrived in Nanjing, capital of eastern Jiangsu Province, to prepare for the upcoming Stankovic Continental Champions Cup.

 

After the regular warm-up routines, the two star players teamed up with other players for further practices.

 

Both Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi have been plagued by injuries in recent month. They were sidelined during the Sino-US game on Monday. However, Yao Ming has confirmed his participation at the Stankovic Cup while Wang Zhizhi is likely to return to the court, according to officials from the Chinese Basketball Association.

 

China will take on Germany tomorrow night.
