Upon the first year event's achievement, the 2006 Shanghai Golden Grand Prix is scheduled on September 23 at Shanghai Stadium again with foreseen extraordinary return. A great occasion featuring numerous celebrities will be on stage, which combines sports with entertainment at the top of this class.

The organizer will further improve this great meet by inviting worldwide top ranking athletes to Shanghai Golden Grand Prix 2006l. Meanwhile, selected team comprising of Chinese top athletes will compete with these international elite athletes.

Besides a first-class track and field meeting, there will be sport carnivals and youth clinic program throughout the event for fans to have an up-close meeting with athletic stars from all around the world.
