Adjust font size:

Major League Baseball plans to hold its first clinic in China, inviting 60 players for instruction in Wuxi from August 7-26.

The players are 12 to 15 years old and were selected from existing baseball groups in Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Wuxi. MLB will have eight instructors at the clinic led by Rick Dell, coach at The College of New Jersey.

MLB also had held clinics in Queensland, Australia, and Tirrenia, Italy.
