The 7-foot-6 player Yi Jianlian sunk 18 points, while Houston Rockets center Yao Ming added 17.

However, the series' short intervals between games were blamed for the poor form. Many players have questioned the overly busy schedule, with many teams suffering from fatigue.

China continued their on-par form from the initial whistle, building up a stable lead that they never conceded right through to the end.

The team will play their next warm-up game on September 28, against another Aussie squad, the Sydney Kings.
