Tibet People's
Broadcast Station
Set up on January 1, 1959, it serves the seats of 81 prefectures, cities and counties, and one-third of townships.
Tibet TV Station
Set up in 1985, the TV station serves one-third of the population in Tibet, and the bulk of the Korean Peninsula and Southeast Asia.
Lhasa TV Station
The TV station went into operation on December 25, 1994. Now it has its own wired TV station to transmit 31 channels of satellite TV programs watched by over 300,000 people.
Cable TV Station
of the Tibet
Autonomous Region
Set up on December 27, 1993, the TV station has the best programs and the longest airing time in Tibet.
